Make no mistake, I meet a lot of women in real life. A lot. Pretty great women, too. But. . . do I need to say the tritest thing in the world? Relationships are hard. Yeah, it’s that simple (to say). Between meeting someone great, having a couple of great dates, spending a couple of passionate nights ¬-- and actually becoming two people who see each other on a regular basis, let alone call themselves a couple -- there are so many places where things can not work out (and usually don’t) that there is simply no such thing as looking in too many places. Besides, after the first meeting face-to-face, it really makes no difference if you’d met on the internet or at a house party.

Now -- the twist. I’m not looking for one those women who are so down on their luck that they want to get married, or move in together, or something else along those lines, right away (they really do have my sympathy). I’m not one of those men, either. In fact, I’m kind of the opposite. I want an easy-going woman, with no hang-ups, who wants a fun, light-hearted experience. Because that’s what I want as well. We’re not going to meet with this huge expectation hanging above our heads that we somehow _must_ end up together. We meet like normal people -- we chat, we flirt, we have a great time. (And BTW -- I’m awesome at all of these. Just FYI.) I am merely saying that if our great days and nights become regular -- great. That’s the way I’d prefer it. If we actually become close -- amazing! Very simple.
